The Glastonbury Fringe returns for a 5th year to take place over 12 days from Thursday 16th until Monday 27th June 2016, all over town in dozens of venues large and small as well as every afternoon under the Fringe marquee by the market cross.
The event hopes to include music, theatre, dance and visual arts in a series of independently produced events and workshops it will take place in venues throughout Glastonbury town.
Line-up
Expect an enormous range of independently organized events featuring a wide range of events - performances, gigs, workshops classes, exhibitions - all run independently by local venues, promoters and artists.
On Thursday 16th June, The Glastonbury Fringe Launch Party will take place from 7pm at the United Reform Church, featuring music from Liam Howard & the Truthseekers, Ant Noel & The Peabody Drakes, The Billy Shinbone Show and Bob Gallie. Tickets will be available for £5.

The Music and Arts Fringe is the brainchild of Sara Clay of Glastonbury Community Development Trust, is aimed at putting Glastonbury -– the Town -– back on the map by showcasing its vibrant local music and arts scene under one banner and telling the world about it, with in a series of independent local events drawing people into the 'real' Glastonbury.
