Golowan 2011

This year is the 20th anniversary of one of Cornwall's biggest community festivals with it's foundation in traditions, giant imagery, banners, customs, mixed with music, theatre and film.

The event culminates in 'Mazey Weekend' which will be on Saturday 25th June when the streets of Penzance are full of sound and colour, spectacular processions, street entertainment and a huge outdoor market.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2011.

Tickets

Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, and tickets are not yet on sale.

The 2011 event has the theme of 'Pirates and the deep blue sea'. As well as music and parades, there are also Cornish games, fireworks, storytelling, films, and walks.
