The GrassRoots Feastival takes place at a secret location between Saffron Walden & Cambridge from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September 2010.

Line-up

Promoters Muddy Promotions, The Antics Establishment, The Magpie's Nest, Uprizing, Tripycyty, Hammer & Tongue, JAR Records, Art & Soul and Very Woolly Productions, with acts including Siren, Kerry And The Giants, The Yearner Babies, Freepeace, Cornelious, Moony, John Litchfield, Tarantism, Ols Moore and the Gypsy Dogs, The Cold Club Trio, Stuart 'O Connor, The Self Help Group, The Wooly Productions Cabaret, The Binewinski murder, Bleak N Blue, Ruth Theodore, Gideon Conn, King Porter Stomp, Lazy Habits, Charlie Alexander, The Gypsy Rats, Alice Band, Picturebook, Dan Raza (band), Richard Hall Band, Keltrix, Cocos Lovers, and more.

There will be a variety of stages catering for everything from Spoken-Word, Comedy and Cabaret through Folk, Rock and Reggae to Techno, Jungle and Psychedelia.

Only 200 Early Bird Tickets available from 6th April to 31st May priced at £40, promotional code 'Pablo' discount tickets are priced at £50, normal price £65. Tickets on the door will be priced £75, under 12's can attend free. Tickets for under 16's are priced at £30. Those aged 16 and Over - full price as above. Day Tickets are priced at £30 (Only Available at the Gate. Please contact organisers before travelling), and Sunday Family Day Ticket (includes 2 adults & 2 children under 16) is priced at £50. Parking

Festival parking will be charged at £5 per car for the weekend unless there are four or more people in the car and then it is free. Please book live in vehicles in advance as there are limited places. Live in vehicles will be charged at £10 for the weekend.

Feastival

This collaborative community arts project intends to bring people together through entertainment, shared space and time and the most basic and primal of all communal activities: eating together.

On the Sunday afternoon the FEASTival takes place – during which all other entertainment will cease and everybody on site will be served dinner together.

Communal area

There will also be a Communal Area situated right in front of the site office (from which security and stewarding will operate 24 hours a day). The communal area will include a kid's area, workshop space and a chill-out zone for people to get together, chat, entertain and educate each other with talks and seminars occurring throughout the weekend. It will also play host to the Upbeat Open Mic Stage which will showcase more established acoustic and spoken word acts.

Circus Skills, Willow Weaving, Wood Carving, Art n Crafts, Drum Circles, Belly Dancing, Yoga, Sound Healing, Reiki & More TBA.

Entertainmen

Puppet Shows, Live Music, DJs, Samba Band, 24 hour cinema, Silent Disco, Juggling Waiters, Kids entertainment, Music Workshops, Live Jams & Sing Alongs, Fairy Bar, Classic Birthday Party Games, Custard Pie Ninja's, Live Visuals, Three Legged Race, Giant Tarpaulin Salad Toss, Face Painting, Roving Soap Box & more TBA.
