Guitar nation is a two day music festival of performances, demonstrations, seminars and debates for guitarists and musicians serious about music. The event takes place this year at the LG Arena (previously NEC), in Birmingham on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2011.

The festival hopes to bring together the people who make the industry happen; world class musicians, band managers, top producers, media professionals, music industry gurus and many more.

Line-up

Both days: Chris Woods, Phil Hilborne + Nicko McBrain + guests, Bernie Marsden plays Rory Gallagher, Stephen Dale Petit, Herman Li.

Tickets

An adult two day ticket is priced at £28, or £15 for either day. An under 10s ticket for the weekend is priced at £20 or £10 for either day.

Ethos

The festivals mission is to empower musicians helping them make a living from music and improve their playing. Guitar Nation is a consumer conference giving the public access to musicians and experts.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are numerous hotels, hostels and guest houses in Birmingham.
