The 27th Hay Festival of Literature & Arts is an annual literature festival held in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, in Wales for ten days from Thursday 22nd May until Sunday 1st June 2014.

The first guests to be announced were Stephen Fry, Toni Morrison, Judi Dench, Ariana Huffington and Jennifer Saunders.
Names released for Hay Fever, the festival for children and young adults, include Francesca Simon, Jacqueline Wilson, Cassandra Clare and Julia Donaldson.
The festival has expanded in recent years and now includes musical performances and film previews. A children's festival, 'Hay Fever', runs alongside the main festival.

Early bird ticket prices vary depending upon event, and and are priced from £6 to £28.50.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
