Now in its 15th year, Heather Music Festival is North West Leicestershire's biggest live music event offering rock, blues, folk, Irish, Cajun, 40's swing, trad.jazz and classical. The venues include the Queens Head with a large marquee, St Johns Football Club, The Crown Inn, and St Johns Church.
The Classical Concert happens on Saturday 26th July, with the Vivaldi Concertante. TICKETS: all £10 each (unreserved) in person from The Queens Head, Main Street, Heather tel: 01530 260544, or by post from Mercia Arts, P O Box 2222, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 2YW.
If applying by post, please enclose a brief note with your name, address, daytime telephone number (in case of queries), first class (32p) stamp, and stating number of tickets required. Payment by cheque only please, made payable to Heather Annual Music Festival.
Contemporary acts booked for this year include O The Laners, Deacons, Will Morgan & Others, Mick Ridgeway's Mojo Band, Ken Woolley, Phoenix and the Pirhanas.
Tickets are £5 for the contemporary events except the AMP event on Sunday, there is a small charge of £5 for camping at Heather St John's Football Club for the whole weekend.
