The 22nd England Medieval Music Festival takes place at Herstmonceux Castle, in East Sussex on August Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August 2014.
Line-up
Serpentyne, Portcullis, Rough Musicke, Vollsanger, Pentacle Drummers, Sand Sirens, Partridge Pluckers, Flaxen Meade, de Mowbray's Musicke, Peasants Pottage, and Zeitenwanderer.
There are three outdoor and two indoor stage areas, with performances throughout the day; and in the evening all performances are indoors in the main marquee.

Ticket prices vary from £15 a day.

New this year, is a Real Ale & Mead in the Royal Arena marquee during the day, with over 25 locally sourced real ales from the Sussex area, and 50+ varieties of mead from England, Scotland, Wales and Europe.
This is a family friendly event, where everyone can enjoy the thrill of Knights Jousting and competing in mounted Skill-at-Arms competitions; Daily Battle and Siege of the Castle; Grand Parades; Falconry displays; Hundreds of Craftsmen and Traders; a Kid's Kingdom; Minstrels, Magicians; Jesters; Hog Roasts and much more medieval mayhem!
