Homegame is Fence Records annual festival which returns for its sixth year, with a whole weekend of performances. The event is deliberately held just outside tourist season, from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th April 2009, in order to bring an injection of money into the town at an otherwise quiet time. It takes place within the sleepy fishing village of Anstruther, Fife which is a pretty fishing village in a stretch of Scottish coastland known as the East Neuk.

The line-up for the festival includes King Creosote, Malcolm Middleton, Eagleowl, Rob St John, Slow Club, Burns Unit, The Pictish Trail, Things In Herds, Candythief, Emma Pollock, and James Yorkston. See below for the complete listing of acts announced so far.

The Homegame Festival features performances from acts on the label, a range of up-and-coming Scottish & UK acts, and a number of very special guests. Starting in 2004 as a two-day event in a small hall, the event now incorporates almost a dozen different venues scattered across Anstruther and Cellardyke, and attracts an audience from all corners of the UK and beyond.

Tickets for the festival are priced at £64.50. To buy tickets, click here.
