London Airwaves Festival 2008

Iceland Airwaves celebrates it's 10th Anniversary by coming to London for an East London Extravaganza. Taking place over nine venues across Shoreditch on Fri 19th September it will be a showcase for breaking bands and DJs.

Confirmed acts appearing include Young Knives, Digitalism (DJ set), Gus Gus, Hannah Holland, Bart B More, Casio Kids, A Human, Steed Lord, Black Cherry, Hearts Revolution, A Silent Film, Florence And The Machine, The Whip, The Teenagers, Metronomy, These New Puritans, Poney Poney, Cazals, Autokratz, Crookers, David E Sugar, The CocknBull Kid, Dead Kids, James Yuill, PNAU, My Toys Like Me, Boy Crisis, Familiijen, Robots In Disguise, Wild Beasts, Pacific, Jerry Bouthier (Kitsune), VV Brown, and Sam Isaac.

Plus Moshi Moshi, Kitsune, TrailerTrash and Deadly will be hosting parties in four of the venues.

Anyone with a wristband will be able to move freely between the venues which are 93 Feet East, Cargo, Bar Music Hall, Vibe Bar, The Macbeth, Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, Last Days of Decadence, Old Blue Last & Hewitt St car park.
