In The City 2009 will take place from Sunday 18th until Tuesday 20th October, at The Midland hotel in Manchester and at venues across the city and features new music from around the world.

'In The City' Festival 2009 is holding three FREE showcase events for 'Your Manchester, Your Music' held at The Moon Under Water. On Sunday 18th Chameleons Vox (Mark Burgess) headlines a line-up that includes roomthirteen, Damien Maddison, The Tides, and The 66. On Monday 19th Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) leads a line-up including Where's Strutter, Modern Alarms, Darren Clinton, and Jealous. Tuesday 20th George Borowski & The Fabulous Wonderfuls lead a bill that has Chuck Farthing, George Borowski & Netty Brook, Michaela, George Borowski & Linda Pagnini, Rook & The Ravens, and The Valentines performing.
