Ireland's 19th annual Kilkenny Roots Festival takes place from Friday 29th April to Monday 2nd May 2016 at various venues across the city.

Line-up

Hayes Carll, Richmond Fontaine, Ryley Walker, Fernando Viciconte, The Weather Station, Lewis & Leigh, Barna Howard, The Delta Saints, Cale Tyson Band, David Corley, Malojian, John Blek & The Rats, Roots Ramble with Special Guests, Tim V. Smyth & The Sky At Night, Teddy Thompson & Kelly Jones, and TV Jones Y Los Gatos.

In addition to the ticketed shows, over 60 free performances will take place on the Music Trail in venues throughout the City.
