Lomond Folk Festival takes place from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st July 2011. Now in it's 12th year, this festival offers a blend of traditional folk music and song including concerts, sessions and workshops, as well as a craft fair, kid's entertainment and a camping/caravan site, all on the banks of Loch Lomond.

There is free music in the Village Square all day on Saturday and Sunday, and ticketed performances each evening, which usually includes a Ceilidh on Friday night, and concerts on Saturday and Sunday in the Festival Marquee.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Alan Reid and Rob Van Sante, Scheihallion, Yuptae, Lyra Celtica, Diamh, Jock Urquhart, Adam Sutherland, John Somerville, Ian Copeland Hell for Leather, Oreste, Helensburgh and District Pipe Band, and others still to be announced.
