This FREE outdoor festival celebrates Asian arts and culture with a wealth of music and entertainment returns to Gunnersbury Park, Hounslow, in London to celebrate it's 12th year on Sunday 6th September 2015 from 1pm until 9pm.

The one-day event will feature nine 'zones' including the Main Stage,  BBC Asian Network New Music Tent,  Community Stage, Magic Mela Family Area, Outdoor Arts performances, Tastes of South Asia Food market, Funfair, craft and exhibitors market, plus new for 2014,  Oxfam Global Local Stage.

Line-up

Main Stage: Headliner Benny Dayal, plusaumya Tandon and Aashif Sheikh, Veena Parashar, Raghav, Arjun, Imran Khan, and Transe Express & Mobile Homme.
BBC Asian Network Stage: Zack Knight, Sama Blake, Jernade Miah and Cold Fever
Global Local Stage: Dila V & The Odd Beats, DJ Parm Panesar, Hussain Brothers Qawwali Group, and Shane Tong.

Mela

Mela is a Sanskrit word meaning 'to meet', used to describe all sorts of community celebrations and festivals in the Asian subcontinent. A long-standing tradition in South Asia, the Mela strengthens communities by bringing people together in a festival atmosphere where everyone can enjoy food, music, dance, and even a a fun fair.
