More info
Critically acclaimed, the ZEE London Mela introduces the best in classical music, British Asian urban artists, dance, comedy and cabaret, Asian-influenced street theatre and circus, as well as exhibitions. And, with a third of the audience from non-Asian communities, it is a truly intercultural family event with something for every generation of every community.
Wembley Park is transforming the 85-acre (34 hectare) area around Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, bringing new homes, shopping, leisure facilities and public spaces to create a major new destination and neighbourhood for London.
Wembley Park is well connected with two overland train stations (nine minutes to Marylebone), two tube stations (20 minutes to the West End) and excellent road links to motorways including the M1, M40 and M25. There are also over 3,000 on-site parking spaces.
Mela
Mela is a Sanskrit word meaning 'to meet', used to describe all sorts of community celebrations and festivals in the Asian subcontinent. A long-standing tradition in South Asia, the Mela strengthens communities by bringing people together in a festival atmosphere where everyone can enjoy food, music, dance, and even a a fun fair.
