Maidstone Fringe Festival, now in its fourth year, takes place over multiple venues in Maidstone, Kent over 5 days from Thursday 1st until Monday 5th May 2014. The majority of events are FREE, with some cover charge events.

What's on?
Focused predominately on music, but also including comedy & street entertainers, the festival, and the musical focus is from rock, indie and pop-punk, through to acoustic and blues acts, contemporary folk, funk, soul, dance and hip-hop. Though a large percentage of the acts are from the South East & Kent, they do welcome performers from across the UK.
The majority of venues involved in the Maidstone Fringe festival are free to attend. Out of the 17 venues, four are ticketed, these are: The Music Room Pizza Express, The Source Bar, The Rafter, and The Bowerhouse

Venues confirmed to date include: Earls, The Style & Winch, Stepping Stone Studios, The Music Room, Pizza Express Maidstone, The Flowerpot, The Art Lounge, The Druids Arms, and The Whitehorse.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Incorporated within the festival are a number of all-day events and dance all-nighters, as well as family friendly entertainment in Jubilee Square and cafes and coffee shops in the Town Centre, with much of the music being free to attend!
