Initiated in 1983 in London, the festival focused on a wide range of subjects of topical interest. Some have concentrated on the living traditional cultures of particular geographic regions, others have addressed general worldwide themes, that transcend territorial boundaries as well as divisions of culture and faith. The event closed it's doors in 2012.
