The New Forest Folk Festival takes place at Plaitford near Romsey which is on the edge of the New Forest from Wednesday 5th until Sunday 9th July 2017.

Line-up

Friday: Joe Broughton’s Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Jacqui McShee's Pentangle, Richard Digance, Ken Nicol, TBC, Broadside Boys, Hannah Robinson, Oxford Fiddle Group, Lines & Squares Poets (Performing each day during changeovers)

Saturday: Show of Hands, Acoustic Strawbs, Ric Sanders Trio, Reg Meuross, Gary Fletcher Band, Janet Dowd & Brendan Goff, Barney Newman, Southampton Ukulele Jam, Lines & Squares Poets (Performing each day during changeovers)

Sunday: Mad Dog Mcrea, Wright Barker Williams Band, Bonnie Dobson, Fleetwood Cave, Kevin Dempsey and Tom Leary, Ninebarrow, Matt Black, Lines & Squares Poets (Performing each day during changeovers)

An adult weekend (4 day) ticket is priced at £80, tickets for children 5 - 15 years of age are half price and under 5 free. Camping is £5 per pitch per night for caravans, motor homes and tents. Family tickets starting from £87.50 Day tickets are priced at £35.

On Wednesday there's a BBQ and Morris Dancing courtesy of King Johns Morris Men and sessions and singarounds hosted by the Morris Men so don’t forget to bring your instruments if you fancy joining in. Thursday offers more singarounds, local artists performing (full list to follow) including Matt Black. They'll be workshops on Friday/Saturday/Sunday, with details still to be announced.
