Newfoundland Secret Summer Gathering 2009

The Newfoundland Secret Summer Gathering is a full-on fusion of contemporary arts set somewhere in the beautiful wilds of Wales.

Featuring 4 stages of psytrance, acoustic, folk, funk, techno, drum'n' bass, jazz, visual arts, literature, spoken word, dancing, performance and smiles, hidden deep in a landscape of natural beauty.

This year's line-up includes:
Indigo Children stage: Psymetrix (Bom Shanka), Rex (Liquid Recs), Nuky (Bom Shanka), Digoa (Alchemy) & Jarrox (Digital Hive), Dainty Doll (Crack Whore Models), Acid Bear Strangler (Divine Music Tribe), Cosmonaughty, Lloyd The Positivist, and Jon Bop (Bop Productions, woef).
Mindtours Records: Acts to be announced.
Marv & Friends: Marv and more, to be confirmed.
Seren: dedicated literature and spoken word stage.

Tickets are not yet on sale. They are available for the full weekend only and are priced at £38 in advance, or £45 on the door.

Three days of camping, laughter and discovery put together by a constantly evolving collaboration of arts and music organisations from Wales, across the UK and beyond, Newfoundland is an entirely not-for-profit adventure.

As well as the music on offer there will be a contemporary arts gallery, poetry & comedy stage, prize winning novelists and street poets, The Earth Art Centre with immersive exhibitions in the 432 Frequency, immersive hand-made decor, unique visuals and video arts, graffiti arts, dancing, smiling, and a spectrum of live performances in every medium, fire sculpture & performance, site sculpture, and more.

There will also be stalls, geo-domes, an adult bouncy castle, licensed bar, luxury yurt accommodation, camping, info exchange, cafes, food from around the world and the scenery of Wales' secret gardens, bonfire, and all the typical festival components.

Note: There are no under 18s allowed (ID may be required on door), no dogs, and no personal fires.
