The Spice Festival runs for two weeks as a celebration of the unique cultural life of Hackney. The festival combines a series of indiviual events featuring artists based in and around Hackney.
Many of the events at The Spice Festival are free, but prices vary depending on the event. Events so far include performances from The James Taylor Quartet, The Alright Alreadies, an audience with Michael Nyman, unsigned/signed with Ed Harcourt, Lost Vagueness, Jimi Livingstone and friends, and an exhibition by Tom Hunter of a collection of his photographs.
