Now in its second year, following an extremly successful opening season in 2004, Oxford Folk Festival presents a weekend of music, dance and workshops including concerts by:
Top Irish band, Danú; acclaimed English duo, Show of Hands; flamenco guitarist and composer Juan Martín, legendary fiddler, Frankie Gavin, The Demon Barbers Roadshow, Whapweasel, The Wrigley Sisters, Jaune Toujours (Belgium), Jali Fily Cissokho (Senegal) and many more.

The festival centres on the Town Hall, with other venues around the city including the Late Night Groove at the Cellar Bar, with DJs Verity Sharp and Fiona Talkington from Radio 3's Late Junction.

The festival also includes ceilidhs, workshops, sessions, and a trade fair. Concerts and workshops take place both during the afternoon and evening. Refreshments - including a real ale bar - will be available throughout the weekend. Accomodation is available at B&Bs, caravan and campsites in and around the city of Oxford. Indoor camping is available to Season Ticket holders only. There is no festival site for outdoor campers.
