The 2nd FREE Parbold Street Festival of arts and music takes place over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September 2016 at various venues around the village of Parbold, Lancashire.

Line-up

Over the two days of the festival, 14 different venues around the village hosted mini events and the Big Stage hosts both local nationally acclaimed performers.

The first Parbold Street Festival used an Arts Council grant, to create the Legend of Parbold Hill (a local and famous landmark) this involved schools and community groups attending creative workshops and writing sessions. The Dragon that lives under the Hill was born.

Other events last year included a beer festival, Lancashire Society exhibition, Continental Area, Market Place and Duck Race on the canal.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
