Picnic Concerts 2007

The programme starts on July 7th at Audley End and continues until August 26th. These English Heritage concerts are set in the idyllic and beautiful grounds of three of England’s top stately homes - Marble Hill in Twickenham, Audley End in Saffron Walden, Essex, and Battle Abbey in Hastings.

The programme is planned as follows:
Audley End, Saffron Walden
Saturday, 7th July – The Music of Motown - Dancing in The Streets.
Saturday, 14th July – Bryan Ferry.
Saturday, 21st July – Buena Vista Social Club Presents: Cachaito Lopez, Guajiro Mirabel, Aguaje Ramos, Manuel Galban.
Saturday 28th July – Party! At Audley End: Here and Now with Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Midge Ure, T’Pau, Toyah Willcox and Limahl.
Saturday 4th August – Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra with guest vocalist, Lulu.
Sunday 5th August – Last Night of The Audley End Proms, starring Katherine Jenkins.

Marble Hill, Twickenham
Saturday, 11th August – Lemar and Beverley Knight.
Sunday, 12th August – The Four Seasons and Fireworks spectacular featuring Chloe Hanslip.
Saturday, 18th August – Party! At Marble Hill, featuring eighties superstars, Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Midge Ure, Altered Images with Clare Grogan.
Saturday 25th August – The Music of Motown - Dancing in The Streets.
Sunday 26th August – Last Night of The Marble Hill Proms featuring special guests Natasha Marsh and Alfie Boe.

Battle Abbey, Battle, Hastings
Saturday 25th August – Party! Here and Now with Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Midge Ure, T’Pau, Toyah Willcox and Nick Heyward.
Sunday 26th August - Last Night of The Battle Abbey Proms, starring Lesley Garrett.

Each evening ends with a firework display. Guests can bring their own refreshments or purchase a selection of food and drink (including picnic hampers) to order at each location.
