The 11th Reading Pride is a FREE one day event which takes place on Saturday 30th August 2014 in Kings Meadow, Reading, Berkshire from noon.

Line-up

Sam Callahan is confirmed to headline, supporting will be Amanda Wilson, Tom Mann, Wilma Fingadoo, Sandra London, The Joes, DJ Twinkle, Funk Lab, Misty Lee, Beth Wright, Mark E, Lola Lasagna, Topping & Butch, Luke Upton, Feryl, and Nicolette Street.

The Village Green will incorporate the Youth Zone with activities for all ages, a picnic area including dedicated Trans* area, community group stalls including ReachOut, BreakOut Surrey, South Asexuals and many more attractions.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Their free-to-enter event celebrates their local community and has made significant progress in encouraging the promotion of LGBT equality.

Throughout the year they work to raise public awareness, and support, of their friends and colleagues at other charitable and voluntary organisations in the Thames Valley area which provide information, advice and support on a breadth of LGBT issues. Over the last seven years they have worked to raise funds for the community and for their annual festival where they showcase diversity and encourage acceptance throughout Berkshire.
