Rock en Seine is an annual French festival which takes place just outside Paris, in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud from Friday 28th until Sunday 28th August 2009.
Friday's line-up includes Oasis, Amy Macdonald, Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, Madness, Keane, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vitalic, Just Jack, Bill Callahan, Passion Pit, Asher Roth, The Tatianas, Gush, James Hunter, and Oceana.
Saturday's bill includes Faith No More, The Offspring, Birdy Nam Nam, Yann Tiersen, The Horrors, Calvin Harris, School Of Seven Bells, Noisettes, Ebony Bones, Esser, Kitty Daisy And Lewis, Jil Is Lucky, and Cheveu.
Sunday's acts include The Prodigy, MGMT, Klaxons, Macy Gray, Eagles Of Death Metal, Metric, Sliimy, Sammy Decoster, Robin Mc Kelle, Baaba Maal, Patrick Wolf, Lilly Wood & The Prick, Hindi Zahra, and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.
A three day pass is priced at 99 euro, with day tickets priced at 45 euro. The entrance is free for kids from 6 to 10, only if they're with an adult who's got a ticket for the festival. This festival is not recommended for children under the the age of 6. To buy tickets, click here.
Camping is only available to three day ticket holders. The Rock en Seine campsite is located in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. The price is 30 euros for 2 people for 3 nights, and 60 euros for 4 people for 3 nights. Camping tickets are available on the link above. No camping tickets will be sold at the entrance
Festival goers are recommended they use public transport to get to the festival as the nearest metro station (Boulogne Pont de Saint-Cloud) is just 5 minutes walk from the entrance. The stop is on Métroline 10 (Gare d'Austerlitz / Boulogne Pont de St-Cloud), nearest stop Boulogne - Pont de St-Cloud.
If taking a tram : T2 line : La Défense Issy-Val de Seine, nearest stop : Parc de St-Cloud.
