Rockmantic Weekender was born in 2013 at The Brickyard, Carlisle in what was largely an experiment to give local bands a bigger platform while also encouraging music fans to travel to The Brickyard. It took 3 years to make an impact nationally, but ever since then it's seen music fans travel from as far as South Wales, Aberdeen, Northern Ireland & Cornwall. Rockmantic Weekender has successfully been exported to other paces in the UK. Renowned for giving new bands a big audience in which to shine, Rockmantic has become the event to find your favourite new band, and on several occasions the first show several international bands have played in the UK.
