Rockmantic Weekender was born in 2013 at The Brickyard, Carlisle in what was largely an experiment to give local bands a bigger platform while also encouraging music fans to travel to The Brickyard. It took 3 years to make an impact nationally, but ever since then it's seen music fans travel from as far as South Wales, Aberdeen, Northern Ireland & Cornwall. Rockmantic Weekender has successfully extended its reach. On the 10th and 11th of November it will the turn of Grimsby's famous Yardbirds Rock Club to host the the Rockmantic Weekender.
