A festival which started in 2006 on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland, near the village of Dores on the east bank of the loch, within sight of Urquhart Castle.
In 2009 the festival announced the addition of live music on the main stage on the Friday night, and the three-day long Rock Ness now offers an eclectic selection of bands in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Ness near Inverness, in Scotland.
It was announced there would be no event in 2014, or 2015.
