The three-day long Rock Ness offers an eclectic selection of bands in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Ness near Inverness, in Scotland which is submitting a bid to become a World Heritage Site. Now in its fifth year the festival returns in 2010 from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June.

Line-up

Fatboy Slim, Leftfield, and The Strokes are headlining with Pendulum, Vampire Weekend, Doves, Ian Brown, Booka Shade, Dave Clarke, The Bloody Beetroots, Vitalic, Aeroplane, Plan B, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, The Cuban Brothers, Dub Pistols, The Japanese Popstars, Hadouken!, 2manydjs, Soulwax, Friendly Fires, Chase & Status, Boys Noize, and many more.

Time change

Due to unforeseen circumstances Soulwax and 2manydjs will be swapping set times at the festival. 2manydjs will now play the main stage on Saturday June 12th and Soulwax will play in the Radio Soulwax Arena on Sunday June 13th. If any one wishes to exchange their Saturday ticket for a Sunday ticket (or vice versa) then they will be able to do so at the Box Office.

Tickets

Early bird offers have now finished. Non camping tickets are priced as follows: £60 for day ticket (Friday £55), £110 for 2 day (Sat + Sun) non camping ticket, or £135 for 3 day non camping ticket.
Camping Tickets are priced as follows: £130 for 2 day (Sat + Sun) camping ticket, or £149 for 3 day camping ticket. A campervan ticket is priced at £59.

Times

Rock Ness also enables festival goers to park and camp directly beside the Arena. Campsites will open at 10am on the Friday, and with the Nesstival area opening as normal in the afternoon and offering a diverse weekend of entertainment.

Arenas

Rock Ness have announced BBC Radio 1 as the official radio partner to the festival. The station's DJs including Annie Mac, and Rob da Bank are set to head north with the latter two each hosting their own arenas.

In a Scottish festival exclusive, the spectacular Arcadia arena will make its Rock Ness debut. This world class audio and visual feast, orchestrated by the Arcadia collective of artists, technicians and engineers, offers spectacular night time shows on the Afterburner Mk2 set. Expect post-apocalyptic pyrotechnics, dramatic podiums extending into the crowd, multi rave areas and fire performance displays alongside DJs including Rob da Bank.
