After cancelling last year Red Rooster Festival will take place in the grounds of Euston Hall, in Suffolk on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June 2014.
Embracing the sounds and lifestyle of the American Deep South, Red Rooster aims to become the event for fans of Rhythm and Blues, Americana, Soul, Roots and Country music.
Line-up
The Jim Jones Revue, Big Boy Bloater, Pete Molinari, The Urban Voodoo Machine, The Vagaband, ChessBoxer, Miraculous Mule, C.C. Smugglers, Scoundrels, Danni Nicholls, and Pearl TN.
Tickets
Adult tickets are priced at £42.50 for both days which includes camping and parking. A Saturday ticket is priced at £35, campervan passes are priced at £25. This event is free for children aged 12 years. Dogs can attend but need to have free dog passes. Prices do not include booking fees.
Food and drink
All food and drink on offer will be based around the theme of the Deep South too - expect to encounter one of the best BBQ joints outside of Mississippi! Whether it's Cajun and Creole, BBQ, bourbon, or gumbo and jambalaya, the organisers are guaranteeing you'll leave their kitchen fuller than a tick on a hound dog. There'll also be farmer's market for guests to browse and take home a taste of the South before making their way home.
Camping
Camping is free for all festival guests.
Rural Pastimes
The day after the festival, Sunday, sees countryside family event, Euston Rural Pastimes return to Euston Park This event is separately ticketed and features The Knights of the Damned jousting display, Wildcat Aeronautics, The Heavy Horse Show, sheepdog trials, terrier racing, a petting area and more. Motor enthusiasts will find a vintage and classic car display featuring over 300 cars from years gone by alongside motorcycles, tractors and engines. The flower festival also returns along with Morris Dancers and live music, plus craft and food stalls.
