Ryedale Folk Weekend 2008

Ryedale Folk Weekend takes place over the bank holiday weekend of Friday 23rd until Monday 26th May at the Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton le Hole, North Yorskhire and there's a Friday night welcome at The Festival Folk Club, Feversham Arms, Farndale.

Concerts in Ryedale Folk Museum's Old Manor House will include performances from Maeve Mackinnon (Sat), Dave Goulder (Sun), Flossie (Sun), Landermason( Sat.) and Richard Grainger & Chris Parkinson (Mon).

Other guests are a who's who of the folk scene including Steve Dawes & Helen Pitt, Phil Drane (NZ),Wendy Arrowsmith, Brother Crow, Les Cameron & Barbara Helen, Adrian O, Four Quarters, Ewan Macpherson, Jane & Christine Williamson, and Zeds Dead.

A full weekend ticket is priced at £25 and concessions are available, and can be bought from the festival Box Office, telephone 01287 660200.

The festival also has workshops, concerts, sessions, family entertainment, and camping available.
