The ninth Shoreditch Festival takes place at Shoreditch Park, New North Road, in London from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th July with activities, events and performances is completely free to all.

Highlights include

Friday - Proms in Shoreditch Park with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a firework finale.

Saturday - A festival day with something for everyone including an eclectic musical line-up on the main stage, big screen films, the much-loved Shoreditch Bark dog show, a literature and spoken word tent, dance stage, an array of stalls, a food market and more. Acts include Brassroots, The Destroyers, The Strumpettes, Yiddish Twist Orchestra, Zong Zing All Stars, Los Chinches and headliners Choc Quib Town. DJ Bingly Bongly will be keep audiences entertained throughout the afternoon between live acts.

Sunday - World in Motion Day - a large scale creative collaboration between Shoreditch Trust, the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A day created by young people for all people featuring live music, fashion, dance and film. Performances will include Boy Blue Entertainment, Lazy Habits, and a special Roots of Reggae at Shoreditch Festival programme featuring Caribbean artists The Viceroys, Gilzene and The Blue Lights Mento Band and Bomba Estéreo on the main stage.
