Jon Guest, British Waterways' London waterway manager said, "British Waterways is very pleased to welcome the Shoreditch Festival to the Regent's Canal in 2011. London's waterways offer a green, car-free, route through the city; connecting different communities and cultures, providing a haven for wildlife and an open-air display of the nation's heritage.
