Now in it's 8th year, Southern Fried is Perth's Annual Festival of American Roots Music, held from Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August 2015 and will feature a line-up of Americana from home and abroad.
Venues
Held in Scotland's the Perth Concert Hall, The Salutation Hotel, and other venues in Perth & Kinross, Scotland, and all Southern Fried venues are entirely walk able from one to the other!
Line-up
Punch Brothers, Rhiannon Giddens, McCrary Sisters and The Fairfield Four headline and the festival will also feature an all-women celebration of the songs of Dolly Parton.
Other confirmed acts include Dean Owens & the Whisky Hearts, Ags Connolly, New Madrids, Twa Tams, Carlos and the Bandidos, The Savage Hornets, Chris Smither, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Speedometer featuring James Junior, Red Pine Timber Co., Champion Doug Veitch, Della Mae, Red Sky July, Dean Owens and the Whisky Hearts, Yola Carter, Amythyst Kiah, Meaghan Blanchard, Boogalusa, Wolftrain, The Holy Ghosts, JD &The Straight Shot and Daniel Meade & The Flying Mules plus many more to be announced.
Tickets
Ticket prices vary depending upon event, and a weekend pass is priced at £54.

Expect also workshops, late night clubs, kids events and finger lickin' food for this super-sized slice of Americana with a warm Scottish flavour.
