The sixth Stendhal Festival takes place in the Roe Valley, Northern Ireland, on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th August 2017.

Combining music, art, dance, sculpture, poetry, and a host of other activities, this is a family friendly event that embraces the ethos of community, discovering different genres of art and above all, having a good time.

Line-up

Confirmed so far are Ash (Friday headliners), The Magic Numbers (Saturday headliners), Sharon Shannon, Rag n Bone Man, Parisian/Manhattan electro swing act Ginkgoa, and German electronica icon Ulrich Schnauss ft. Nat Urazmetova, Ginkgoa, Ciaran Lavery, The Four of Us, Anthony Toner, Overhead, Jealous of the Birds, Ryan Vail, Ryan McMullan, and many more.

The comedy line-up will be headlined by David O'Doherty.

Tickets are currently on sale, priced at £45 including camping. Family tickets, day tickets and campervan are also available.

In addition to the music on show over four stages, Stendhal Festival will also play host to a varied family programme of events for the kids to enjoy, art work, sculpture, a craft market, digital art installations, a fun fair and many more wee surprises.

The festival intends to ensure the audience is kept undercover in the event of inclement weather.

Family Activities

Activities at the festival this year will include drumming workshops, storytelling, puppet shows, dance workshops, arts and craft workshops, laughing yoga, circus skills and performances, big bubbles making and more. There will be two dedicated family tents, one for creative workshops and another for performances.
