Stowfest is a FREE event happening at Chilton Fields, Chilton Way, Stowmarket, Suffolk and in 2013 will take place on the evening of Friday 31st May and throughout Saturday 1st June.

Stow Rocks: 23X, East Town Pirates, Serious Delirium.

Saturday
Total Driving Stage: In the Clubhouse, Federal Charm, Lee Vann, Navacross, Rayon Nelson, Common Tongues, Fern Teather, Soul Circle Gang, Freya Roy, Growler, Matthew P, John Blood and the Highlys, Simeon Pattison, The Maccaferri Club, Rhys Butterworth Bowman, and Amplitude Acts featuring various up-and-coming young bands from the Amplitude Project.
John Peel Centre Stage: Polar Collective, Lee Vann, The Aurora, Rayon Nelson, The High Commissioners, Fern Teather, Lester Clayton, Freya Roy, Simeon Pattison, Benjamin Bloom, Rhys Butterworth Bowman, and Beanstalk.
Amplitude Stage: Lost Lungs, Overload, Checks, Morning After Kill, Spare Pig, Sweet Solution, Sofa, Exit on the Left, and more tba.

History

StowFest is a free community music festival in Stowmarket, Suffolk organised by Stowmarket Town Council in partnership with Stowmarket Rugby Club. The festival launched in 2007 since when it has evolved and improved, expanding from a one day to a two day festival and moving venue from the Recreation Ground to Chilton Fields.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
