Swaffham Free Festival 2013

Returning for a second year Swaffham Free Festival is an arts event which takes place at the Market Place, Swaffham, mid Norfolk, over two days this year Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2013.

Line-up

Saturday 24th August: Pete Twitchett, Chas Rigby, Fern Teather, Blarney Rovers,
Novinka! Folskaband, Splinter, Rumours Of Spring, Robb Johnson, and The Root Music All Stars.

Sunday 25th August: The Sharps, Midnight Circus, Senor Momento, Cyril Grant, Clare Hayes Trio, Letter To The Tsar, The John Preston Tribute Band, KC, Dynamite Horton, The Demodes, Hey Rudi.

On Saturday there will be a more laid back, intimate collection of musicians in a marquee on The Campingland with a return of last year's more electric mix of bands on the Marketplace on Sunday.

The bands playing will have an eclectic, East Anglian bias. The main stage on Sunday will be in the historic Georgian Market Place with interludes in the adjacent Butter Cross rotunda.

Organised by the Iceni Partnership, they hope this event will become a highlight of the festival scene in East Anglia.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
