Swindon Shuffle 2009

The third year of the Swindon Shuffle is one of the UK's largest unsigned music festivals running from Thursday 6th August to Sunday 9th August 60 bands will play on 11 stages, across 4 days, with 9 venues being used to host the event.

The line-up is as follows:
Thursday 6th August
RIFFS BAR STAGE (from 7pm) The Plastic Fiction, Unfortunate Hero, Theo Altieri, Frosted Tea Cakes.

Friday 7th August
12BAR STAGE (from 7pm) The Kulucci March, The Flaming Moes, The Volt, Buswell, Ella's Unable.
THE FURNACE STAGE (from 7pm) The Dead Lay Waiting, In The Absence Of Light, The Divebomb Revolution, Broken Daylight, Let The Games Begin.
CORNER CLUB STAGE (from 7.30pm) AJ & Bully Live, Jewels & The Jacuzzis (TBC), Moneyrunner vs Playgroup, The Melo-D's.

Saturday 8th August
BBC INTRODUCING STAGE (WHARF GREEN) (from 11am) The Alfonz, Viva Sleep, Sion, I Said Yes, Bleech, Jeff Like Usual.
THE FURNACE STAGE (from 4pm) Lighterthief, The Dirty Feel, The Dacoits, The Locarnos, Teabo, Hotel 75, Failing To Focus.
THE BEEHIVE STAGE (from 6pm) Sunday Dogs, Good Things Happen In Bad Towns, The Doubtful Guest, Pignose.
THE ROLLESTON STAGE (from 12pm) Energy Without The Sun, Kickaberry, Gaz Brookfield, Zoe Mead, Milk, Shed, Tommasso Galati, Doza.

Sunday 9th August
THE VICTORIA STAGE (from 5pm) Old School Tie, Hip Route, Matthew Kilford, Matilda Coach, Sweet Plums, Fry.
THE BEEHIVE STAGE (from 12pm) The Shudders, Charlie Bath, Simon Hall, Billyjon, Emma Payn.

This year's Swindon Shuffle has seen additional elements added from an outdoor stage at Wharf Green on the Saturday afternoon, to a youth Battle of the Bands.

A weekend ticket is priced at £15, and allows entry to all the stages for the Swindon Shuffle, individual stage shows are priced at either £6 or some are free. To buy tickets, click here.

The music venues involved this year, the 12 Bar, the Victoria, the Rolleston, the Furnace, the Beehive and Riffs bar are joined not only by the outdoor stage at Wharf Green but also the new Corner Club on Havelock Square, expanding the reach of this event.

Please note this a non-camping event, there are plenty of accommodation options in the Swindon area.
