Thames Festival 2005

The annual Thames festival also features the London Electronica Festival with 2 stages of 21st century UK crossover, performance and dance areas, plus acoustic street Samba music and street acts along 2½ festival miles.

Peformers include: Robert Miles, Danado de Bom, Latin Klan, Ska Cubano, No Fit State circus/ImMortal 2, and Being in Motion. There is expected to be a music venue in Borough Market and a stage (called 21st Century Silk Route) on Potters Fields dedicated to London based 2nd Generation ethnically diverse purveyors of traditional music mixed with 21st Century beats. In Potters Fields Park there's also a cocktail bar and food village. Other attractions within the Thames Festival include fireworks, art installations, workshops and children's activities.
