After a year off, The Fling returns to Chelmsford's Central Park this summer as a one day festival which offers live music, cabaret, and curiousitie (sp) on Saturday 6th July 2013.

A playful festival specifically aimed at those aged over 18 and taking place in a quirky village inhabited by the wonderful, the weird and the bizarre. The festival stars a fabulous cast of local talent and professional artistes.

The Fling (an adults only festival) offers an intriguing alternative to the usual night out and alongside playful activities, stars a fabulous cast of professional artistes and Chelmsford talent who will explore, seduce and surprise your senses through performances, sideshows, poetry, a huge silent disco and much more.

Once within the site, most activities are free and will include several live performance venues alongside the live music stages will be Cabaret Tent including burlesque performers, a Comedy Tent, a Dance Tent, the Silent Disco, a Poetry Tent, an Acoustic Music Stage, adult films, art and installations, fireshows, fancy dress, storytelling for adults, craft and body-painting activities, Charity Casino, Massage and Therapy Space, Sandy Beach, stalls, sideshows and other curious activities, bars, food & cafes, and more.

There will also be a selection of food, soft drinks and alcohol available to purchase at the event.

Parking

Please note that there is no parking on site but it is within 5 minutes walk of Chelmsford town centre.
