The Upton Blues Festival is an annual celebration of Blues Music that takes place in the town of Upton Upon Severn in Worcestershire with 3 official stages throughout the town and other separate pub locations.
The 2016 Upton Blues festival will be held over the 3 day festival weekend Friday 15th to Sunday 17th July.

Aynsley Lister Band, Billy D and the Hoodoos, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Alexis Evans Band, Big Red & the Grinners, Wille & the Bandits, Big Man Clayton, Chris Antonik, Dove & Boweevil, The Producers (25th Anniversary Tour), La Vendore Rogue, Chris Gibbons Band, Chris Bevington & Friends, Blind Pilgrim, LR Phoenix, The Della Grants, Mat Walklate & Paolo Fuschi, Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band, The Beacon Gospel Choir, Half Deaf Clatch, Red Butler, Masai Blues, and Fran McGillivray Band.
The organisers try to bring a mix of all styles of blues music, along with a range of well-known artists through to new and upcoming bands with the action switching between the main Riverside, Sports Field and Hobson's Acoustic stage areas and with a variety of bands spanning the musical spectrum - from Rhythm and Blues to Soul, from Rock n' Roll to Bluegrass.

The festival also caters for music workshops, where the different styles, instruments and voices are open for discussion and demonstration.
There's also music in venues mainly based in the pubs in the town, as well as open-air venues.
Attendees are welcome to camp and make the most of a weekend of music from blues rock to bluegrass, country blues to New Orleans, acoustic to soul and gospel.
The festival which is self funded through a combination of camping, festival merchandising and local business sponsorship and advertising attracts 1000's of people into the shops & pubs of Upton over the festival weekend, promoting both the town and local area whilst providing a weekend of free entertainment.
Camping
The camping is very important to the festival as, without the revenue it generates there would be no festival. Prices for camping have not yet been announced.
Registered Charity
The Upton Blues Festival is now a Registered Charity which recognises the not-for-profit nature of the event, its volunteer committee and brings a number of other benefits.
