ValeFest, the student run charitable, ethical and eco friendly music and arts festival is back for its 16th year on Saturday 8th June 2019.

Organised by volunteer students at the University of Birmingham and held at The Vale.

Line-up

Acts include Saint Raymond, Bad sounds, Bloxx, Kioko, The Clause, Portobello, and more.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

There will be a range of festival food including local favorites from the Digbeth Dining Club. This is a family friendly event and there will be many activities other available including face painting, salsa workshops and demonstrations by the battle reenactment society at the University of Birmingham. The festival takes place from 12 noon until 10.30pm and is followed by an after party at the Duck and Scholar bar on site (included in the ticket price.)

Charity

All proceeds from the event are donated to Basic Needs and the Rape and Sexual Violence Project. Over the years ValeFest has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for a wide array of causes.
