With a round-the-clock programme of diverse gigs, sessions, workshops and broadcasts, taking place inside and out, the festival makes use of a wide range of small and medium sized venues, workspaces, empty shops and larger public spaces throughout the Stokes Croft district. Now in it's second year, it features free outdoor daytime events, as well as performances, installations, films and free public workshops. This year's programme is as follows:
FRIDAY: Mark Stewart and band featuring Doug Wimbish, Skip McDonald and Keith Le Blanc, plus a live mix by Adrian Sherwood, Acid Mothers Temple, Gravenhurst, and The Cosmic Inferno. From 8pm till late.
SATURDAY: A non-stop line-up (6am - 6am - yes, it looks like 24 hours!) of overlapping musicians including the Warsaw Village Band from Poland; Efterklang from Denmark; DJ Rupture, Z'ev, Oneida, A Hawk and A Hacksaw, and Marrissa Nadler - all from the USA; as well as the UK musicians, Alexander Tucker, Phil Minton, and Matt Elliot, and DJs from The Super Furry Animals.
SUNDAY: This aims to be a more gentle day with a night of twisted folk at the Trinity Centre from 8pm onwards including more bands from the States with Vetiver, Micah P Hinson, Currituck Co.; Minotaur Shock and Tuning from the UK.
