THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Vertigo Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from Vertigo says:

"Vertigo Festival postponed until June 2014 due to unforeseen issues that would have caused organisers to put the quality of the event in jeopardy

Here at, we Vertigo have made the difficult decision that the festival will be postponed until June 2014 due to unforeseen issues with the submission of licensing documents in the run up to the event. Due to take place in Pragelato, Italy this August, Vertigo Festival will now take place at the same venue in June 2014. We are offering a variety of compensation packages to existing ticket holders, including a free stay in one of our Italian hotels among other added value holiday packages, or the option for a refund. All ticket holders will be guaranteed access and accommodation for Vertigo Festival 2014.

Vertigo Organiser Rick Frost stated that, "Here at Vertigo Festival HQ it is with deep sadness that we have been forced to make the decision to postpone this years event. Due to a number of unforeseen paperwork issues and our personal lack of knowledge of the Italian licensing systems we have come to the difficult decision to postpone this years event. Our vision for Vertigo Festival was being placed in jeopardy due to the aforementioned issues and we were not willing to compromise our ticket holders experience. We would like to apologise to our ticket holders for the change in plans, we can promise however that we will be back in 2014 with the most spectacular event with more artists and the best entertainment you can imagine".

We appreciate the support that everyone has given over the months leading up to the event and we realise the level of inconvenience this will cause many people, as we know that many have organised their summer plans around the dates of the Festival. Be assured that one of the festival organisers will be contacting the lead bookers of all ticket purchases personally via telephone from 9:00am Monday morning onwards. We aim to contact all customers by close of business Wednesday 24th July and to resolve the situation in the best way possible, however We would like to point out that whilst refunds are being offered, this will take some time to process as third parties are involved. If anyone has any urgent or major concerns they should direct their questions to info@vertigofestival.com. We advise ticket holders to cancel or re-schedule flights where possible and to check various insurance policies they may have with airlines or credit cards.

All of us at Vertigo would like to take this opportunity to once again apologise for the postponement of the event and also send out our thanks to all of you who have supported our decision and will be joining us as we will continue to champion new, underground electronic music in the stunning ex-Olympic location at the 2014, inaugural event."
