Wakefield Rock Festival 2010

Wakefield Rock Festival a brand new rock and metal festival taking place on 15th and 16th May at Ingfield, Ossett Town FC, Wakefield, in West Yorkshire.

Line-up

The confirmed headliners are Pitchshifter on Saturday, and InMe on Sunday with Heaven's Basement also confirmed. Saturday's line-up includes The Glitterati, Esoterica, Imicus, Decadenze, Evil Scarecrow, K.O.Kaine, M.B.T, The 9plan, and Epitaphs Of Pain. Sunday's line-up includes Senser, Panic Cell, Marya Roxx, Die So Fluid, White Light Parade, Inamba, Lynchburg Tenn, and Asomvel. Alongside more known and unsigned rock, metal and indie acts to be announced.

The festival will play host to 30 acts on two stages over two days within the six thousand-capacity grounds with the festival raising money for Wakefield Hospice.

Organisers will be holding several fundraising gigs and events in the run-up to the festival, including the annual WTP Music Battle of the Bands.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £35, with day tickets for Saturday or Sunday priced at £25. Tickets for children between five and sixteen years of age or adults over sixty five years of age are priced at £30 for the weekend, or £22 for either day. Children under five years of age will be permitted entry free of charge with an accompanying adult. No ticket is necessary for these children.
