Now in its third year, the Waterlooville Music Festival is a cultural and musical event in East Hampshire, taking place from 7th - 14th June 2008.

The festival focus is on popular classical, but a wide ranging programme is offered which in the past has included heavy rock and folk music, songs from the musicals, through to weighty classical organ pieces.

This year, the programme consists of the following concerts:
Saturday, 7th June:
Market Place Music (at lunchtime)
Gosport and Fareham Youth Orchestra (evening)
Sunday, 8th June:
Scratch Les Miserable featuring members of Portsmouth Chorus and other local choirs (evening).
Monday, 9th June:
Drumming Workshops and Concert (lunchtime)
Nadina String Quartet (evening)
Tuesday, 10th June:
Flute Recital – Jess Spurgeon (lunchtime)
St Peter’s RC School Concert (afternoon)
Clarinets and Sax Orchestra (evening – first half)
Havant Youth Choir (evening – second half)
Wednesday, 11th June:
Organ Workshop and Recital – Sue Palmer (lunchtime)
Film Show – The Sound of Music (afternoon)
Solent Male Voice Choir (evening – first half)
Africapella (evening – second half)
Thursday, 12th June:
Oaklands RC School Concert (lunchtime)
Gatcombe Park School Concert (afternoon)
Hampshire Area Guitar Orchestra (evening)
Friday, 13th June:
Organ Recital - Stephen Binnington, Director of the Farrington Music School, Shaftesbury, Dorset. (lunchtime)
Tea Dance with cream teas – Bert Norris and his musicians (afternoon) Hampshire Police Choir (evening)
Saturday, 14th June:
Sounds of Steel (lunchtime)
Last Night of the Proms – with all the atmosphere of the real thing under the direction of Warrant Officer Bandmaster Don Lloyd ATCL CTABRSM, LRSM, Royal Marines. (evening – with real ale licensed bar)
