West Beach Festival 2010

West Beach Music & Arts Festival is one of America's only beach festivals, a three day event taking place from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th September at sunny Santa Barbara's beautiful West Beach in California. The festival is a beach-side gathering for music fans, families and beach goers alike.

Line-up

First confirmed acts are UB40, Pretty Lights, Easy Star All-Stars (perfroming 'Dub Side of the Moon'), Collie Buddz with New Kingston, Katchafire, SOJA, JJ Grey & Mofro, Still Time, Tyrone Wells, Zion-I, Rey Fresco, The Beautiful Girls, Tomorrow's Bad Seeds, DJ Skeet Skeet, Fort Knox Five, Hyper Crush, Tribal Seeds, Mike Pinto, Aloe Blacc, Loomis & the Lust, Anuhea, The Green, Passafire, Through the Roots, The Upbeat, Gian Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Matty Matt, Sabatage, Sammy Bananas, BetaTraxx, Rico De Largo & DJ Sparx, DJ RI, Zander, Bones, aRod, LexiconDon, Short Circuit, Kelley James, The Movement, Stranger, and Redeye Empire.

The two day event offers fun-in-the-sun, with rock, reggae and pop festivities for all on twelve acres where sand meets ocean, west of Stearns Wharf.

Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. A 2 day pass is priced at $105 for a 2 day pass, or day tickets are priced at $52.50 Friday, or $62.50 for Saturday. To buy tickets click here. Children aged 10 and under can attend for free.

Accommodation

Festival goers will need to find themselves accommodation whilst the festival is on as there is no camping facilities at the event and camping is not allowed on West Beach.

Cabanas

With breathtaking views of the harbour, ocean, and mountains the West Beach Festival also offers VIP cabanas accommodation which sells out every year. Cabana Row provides private food & beverage service, private security, and premium viewing of Bob's stage (main stage). Cabanas are furnished with plush couches and tables, as well as a private beach front with umbrella, table and chairs.

West Beach Music & Arts Festival is committed to reducing it's impact on the beach and being as environmentally responsible as possible.

On site

The festival has a massive main stage, over 75 arts, crafts and cuisine vendors, a "sandbox" for the kids with performances by young up and coming artists, and at the centre of the party, a bamboo-shaded "Oasis" where special guest DJs will spin the warm breezy night away.

Food

The festival features a wide variety of food options – from Health Nut to Festival Food Junkie to Seafood Lover and back around to keeping the kids happy! They have some of the best food exhibitors in the nation working at the festival, and work closely with the food exhibitors to keep pricing down.
