Whitby Folk Week is a long-standing celebration of the traditional music, dance and song of the British Isles has taken on the trappings of a tradition in its own right.

With over 600 events covering workshops, concerts, singarounds, dances, sessions, street entertainment and the extensive 'fringe' events that blossom spontaneously. The event takes place from Thursday 19th to Wednesday 25th August 2017.

Tickets are priced at £194 for a full adult season ticket (£244 with camping). Senior/Student tickets are also available, as are day tickets.

Camping

The Festival sets up a temporary campsite each year for festival season ticket holders. The temporary campsite will be in operation for the week of the Whitby Folk Week at Airy Hill School, Waterstead Lane, in Whitby.It is a basic site on a school playing field, but water, showers and toilet facilities are available.

Please note that dogs will not be allowed on the campsite.
