Whitehaven Festival 2011

Started in 1999, Whitehaven Festival will take place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th June 2011. The Festival is largely held in the harbour area.

Line-up

Friday - The Here and Now Concert featuring Boy George, Bananarama, and Carol Decker.
Saturday - Madness.
Sunday - Razorlight.

More acts are still to be announced. The Sugar Tongue will once again be playing host to tall ships, air shows, celebrity chefs, a continental market, a Cumbrian market, street theatre, celebrity guests, a fun fair and 3 concerts (one each night, tickets required for each concert).

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
