With multiple stages and an eclectic mix of festival favourites, iconic acts, local bands, and headliners with a wide appeal, the 14th Wickerman festival will happen on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2015 with campsites open on the Thursday.

As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.

The site

Sited on 120 acres of isolated farmland, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, in deepest Galloway, the festival welcomes families, and features two main stages, as well as a dance area, acoustic tent, a campsite, trade stalls, alternative area, bars, and food stalls.

Included in the activities are a roller disco, hot tubs, dance workshops, an outdoor cinema and a brand new Lowland Links Tent which will help fans celebrate Scotland’s Year of Homecoming in style by shining the spotlight on the Dumfries and Galloway region.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £110 for weekend adult tickets and £55 for weekend concession tickets, with children aged 12 and under able to attend for free. A campervan/caravan pitch is priced at £55 or £105 with an electric hook up. There are also VIP, and camping options available.

Features

The Wickerman features a children's area, Dumfries Museum's Activity Tent, a drumming workshop, mountain bike skills workshops with the Forestry Commission, Cosmic Circles Fire Dancers, a funfair for kids, chainsaw juggling, outdoor cinema, children's circus.

Once again the popular Headphone Disco will be returning to Wickerman this year to keep people raving quietly on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in the Headphone Arena, nestled alongside Bass Camp.

Once again, Festival fans in need of some downtime can kick back and enjoy The Retreat, where a variety of relaxing treatments will be on offer. Alongside the retreat,revellers can enjoy a series of Yoga and Qigong sessions.

New features for 2015 include a 40 seat Wee Green Cinema and a Karaoke Taxi, Europe’s first mobile zip wire, a new campervan photo booth, a new Festival Circus hosted in a big top, and circus workshops.

Further adding to the merriment and returning to Wickerman will be the 7stanes Display Team,who offer mountain bike taster sessions,the much-loved headphone disco, soccarenas, a climbing wall, glass sledging, bouncy castles, fairground rides, laser quest, segway riding, a bucking broncho and site sherpas.

Children’s Area

For £3 per day, children can enjoy a host of fun activities in Wickerman’s dedicated Children’s Area. All admission charges will be donated towards the education of James Okeyo, an African orphan who the festival have sponsored since 2011. The area offers storytelling sessions, singalongs, art workshops and puppet shows.
