Willowman Festival 2011

Returning for a second year the Willowman Festival is situated at Lenthor Farm just off the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors near the village of Osmotherley. The family friendly event takes place on the Summer Solstice weekend from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th June 2011.

Friday

System 7, Here & Now, Ade Edmondson & the Bad Shepherds, Indian Postal Service, Endless Knott, Winter in Eden, Headphone Party, Prognosis, IOJ Reggae Sound System, Black Sun, and Monster Ceilidh Band.

Saturday

Alabama 3, Toploader (are now appearing on Saturday - Sunday tickets maybe exchanged for Saturday tickets on the day), Subsource, Mercedes, Tenkus the Henge, Be Quiet Shout Loud, NEEB, White Negroes, Banco de Gaia, Chased by Wolves, The Middens, Headphone Party, Prognosis.

Sunday

Easy Star All Stars, Nick Harper, Pauline Black, Subgiant, TJ & Murphy, Elaine Palmer, Sparrow & the Workshop, Bonzo Dog end Band, Vices, Goldheart Assembly, IOJ Reggae Sound System.

Plus Headphone Party on Friday & Saturday, and Instrument of Jah Reggae Sound System playing every night.

Early entry Thursday

Thre festival will have a pre festival party, on the Thursday night from 7pm held in the beer tent, and featuring Instrument of Jah, DJs, MCs, and P.A. sets from Peter Spence, and special guest star Adele Harley.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £70 for a full weekend including camping. Tickets for youths (aged 12-17 year old) are priced at £35 for a full weekend including camping. Under 12's accompanied by an adult go free! Live in Vehicles all sizes and shapes are priced at £10 per vehicle. Day tickets are priced at £25 for adults, and £15 for a young person. After the first successful year The Willowman Festival promises a top line up promised for 2011 and will host main stage acts to suite all tastes, an acoustic stage, Reggae Sound System Tent and loads for the kids to do. There is also quality trade stands a wide variety of international food stalls and a Real Ale Beer Tent. The site also hosts 'Sentry Circle' a Pagan stone circle used regularly by visiting Pagans. With Summer Solstice that week festival goers could all be dancing in the moonlight.

The festival will also have a healing area, spiritualists, workshops, arts & crafts, trade stalls, on site bar at pub prices, quality food stands, plus other attractions.

Family fun

Willowman Festival has fun for all the family, with a bouncy castle, face painting, junior arts and crafts, and a funfair too.
